Project Details:
In this project, we:
- Analyzed the Business Flow of System and developed an Interface with
the users over online Production problems.
- Were involved in Enhancements of existing legacy system from RPG III
to RPG/400.
- Were involved in complete system backup every month.
- Analyzed and modified the existing legacy system for Year 2000 Compliance.
- Wrote ILERPG programs to generate GL weekly, monthly reports.
- Were involved in Impact analysis, Modifications, Unit testing and
Documentation.
- Analyzed and removed the hard coding in programs and made more user
friendly as well as efficient. EDI - Involved in design, analysis and
creation of EDI type trees, mapping specs using ANSI X12 standards.
- Were involved in developing translation maps for ANSI X12.
- Were involved in developing and execution of test plans.
- Designing, configuration, verification and mapping of data for different
business scenarios. Involved in preparing Transaction sets #204, #856,
#810, and #997.
