Project Details:

This was a B2B e-Commerce project for placement services. The services offered were e-requirement posting, e-bidding, e-interview scheduling, e-resume database, e-placement, e-timesheet entry, e-timesheet approval, e-billing, and e-payment.

An organization could register either as a Client or as a Member. The Clients (Organizations in need of skilled manpower) can place their requirements (skilled manpower) and Members (Organizations capable of supplying skilled manpower) could bid for the manpower. If a candidate's skill set matched with the client's requirement and if the bid becomes as the winning bid, scheduling of interview (Net meeting or telephone) was finalized and informed to both Member and the Client through e-mail.

While registering as a new Member or Client, the organization had to specify SPOC (Single Point of Contact) who will be responsible for all the future transactions. There were 6 types of users for this application Member (SPOC), Client (SPOC), Admin, Member (Non SPOC) and Client (Non SPOC).

We used Cold Fusion 4.0 for developing the application and HTML for developing the web pages. Embedded CFML tags were used to make the web pages interactive. We also used JavaScript for client side validations. The application was hosted on IIS 4.0.
