Employee Visa Tracking System

This system was a web based e-commerce application designed to enable the customers to shop virtually. In the project, our team:

• Developed store creation wizard using ASP 2.0 and ActiveX DLLs.
• Generated personal directories using MTS, COM/DCOM.
• Developed ASP application using Visual Interdev 6.0/1.0.
• Designed front-end screens using HTML/DHTML and XML.
• Used CSS and XSL to enhance the front-end screens.
• Designed store administration screens using Cold Fusion 4.0.
• Used CFML for server side scripting.
• Used VBScript for server side scripting.
• Did client side validations using JavaScript.
• Used SQL Server 7.0 as backend database.
• Hosted the application using IIS4.0 and Cold Fusion Server4.0.
• Developed the website Visualmart.com in ASP2.0 and ColdFusion4.0 simultaneously.

Project Details:
This application resolved problems between buyers and sellers online and maintained the information of users. It sent mails to complainants, respondents and available adjudicators.

For this project, we:

• Designed online screens using HTML and Cold Fusion.
• Used JavaScript for client side validations and created queries to connect to SQL database.
• Used MS SQL Server 7.0 as the back-end database.
• Hosted the application on web using IIS 4.0.
• Developed transecure module using custom tags, SMTP, POP.
• Implemented hot fixes and enhancement of existing application.
• Performed regression testing for the application.
