Project Details:

HP, INGRAM, COMPAQ, SARCOMPcOrder is a leading provider of internet-based electronic commerce solutions that enable the computer industry's suppliers, resellers and end users to buy and sell computer products online. In this project, we:

• Were involved in the design and development of e-commerce applications, including the complete software development life cycle.
• Created a search engine to query a wide spectrum of Information, using ATL (COM components).
• Used MFC to develop these components in VC++ 6.0 environment.
• Used MS SQL Server 6.5 as the backend database.
• Used ADO for database communication.
• Designed web pages using ASP 2.0, and did server side validations using VB Script. in Visual Interdev 6.0 environment.
• Deployed the application on IIS 4.0.
