Date: June 02, 2004
NOIDA (Near New Delhi): The Noida-based IT solutions
company, FCS Software Solutions Ltd, has registered
a 46.35% rise in its turnoverin 2003-04 as compared
to the previous fiscal. The FCS turnover growth is on
account of new customer acquisition as well as growth
of business from existing customers in all its three
key focus areas - e-Learning and Digital Content Services;
IT Consulting and Business Applications; and Product
Engineering Services.
Year 2003-04 saw strong focus on employee productivity
measures, including the introduction of Digital Workplace,
an application that helped the company reduce employee
bench time and the development span. "This, coupled
with our precise offshore models of end-to-end information
lifecycle management and service delivery, has contributed
to our growth," says Mr Dalip Kumar, Managing Director
of FCS Software Solutions Ltd.
Adds Mr Vineet Narang, VP (Strategic Planning and Business
Development) at FCS: "Our growth can be attributed
to two primary factors. First, our competitive edge
offers a distinct advantage to organizations seeking solutions that can be deployed
quickly and efficiently. Second is our ability to execute
a successful offshore delivery model."
Year 2003-04 also witnessed introduction of innovative
steps to engender and sustain a fun workplace at FCS.
These include the launch of FCS Leadership Program (FLP),
FCS University, and our corporate monthly newsletter,
Reflections. FLP earned accolades for its practice environment, which contains a diagnostic approach. Other
employee programs for skill enhancements and personal
goal achievement, along with training workshops, have
proved fruitful exercises towards the creation of a
healthy work environment. The FCS cricket team too won the CRY Cadence Cup this year.
The company believes that with current order book and
accepted orders from existing clients, it would be able
to sustain a growth of 30 to 35% in the current fiscal
year. The US market is showing recovery and with stable
foreign currency, FCS is geared to achieve the future
growth.
