NOIDA (near New Delhi): Mr Neeraj Goel, a Project Manager
at the FCS Software Solutions Ltd, a Noida-based IT applications
company, has been appointed as a judge for the prestigious 7th Brandon-Hall
Excellence in e-Learning Awards, 2004. The awards are
presented by
Brandon-Hall.com, one of the e-learning industry's leading
research
and consulting firms based in the US.
"FCS takes great pride in its competent workforce,"
says Mr Dalip
Kumar, MD, FCS Software Solutions Ltd. "The selection
of an FCS
colleague as a Brandon-Hall judge is indicative of the
level of
endeavors that we at FCS have been making in the e-learning
world."
Mr Goel has been nominated to judge the "Full
Course" category, which
encompasses 'Media', 'Interactivity' and 'Interactive
Simulation'.
For a major part of his over 8-year-long career, Mr
Goel taught at
various web-design centers of learning in New Delhi.
During his
teaching days, he introduced the 'element of fun-filled
ease' into
learning, so that students could grasp the fundamentals
easily. Says
he: "I am basically a trainer; I try to introduce
my practical
experience of teaching into direct learning, reinforced
learning. The
job here at FCS is tough, since the user is virtually
present before
you, constantly watching over your shoulders; and in
this backdrop the
challenge lies in transforming instructor-led training
into online,
self-paced and user-driven e-learning programs."
Mr Goel attributes his expertise to the truly world-class
e-learning setup at FCS, which caters to the critical
needs of several global giants (including many Fortune
500 companies). "It helps us fine tune our skills
and expertise in keeping with the needs of our international
clientele," says he.
Mr Vineet Narang, VP (Strategic Planning and Business
Development) at FCS, who heads the Offshore Solutions
Group (OSG) of the company, agrees: "The most inspiring
thing about FCS e-Learning Division is its workforce
expertise which enables us to take up any critical innovative
project in e-learning from a global clientele. With
Sabina Rahman, a nationally acclaimed e-learning expert
as our Creative Head, FCS is set to scale newer and
newer heights in this field." |
